Pepeliaev Group launches in Siberia

November 13, 2012 Russian law firm Pepeliaev Group has launched a new office in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. This is the firm’s third office in the region Moscow and St Petersburg.

The Krasnoyarsk base will be led by tax specialist Egor Lysenko, who is relocating from Moscow along with two other lawyers to effect the launch. The firm plans to double the size of the team at a later stage.

Pepeliaev Group managing partner Sergey Pepeliaev commented on the move: “The key factors behind the decision to open an office in Krasnoyarsk are the number of [our] clients in Siberia, the region’s high investment potential and the ever-increasing demand of Russian and foreign companies.

“We’re positive that Siberia will become a real centre for investments. Apart from a well-developed infrastructure, high-quality professionals and investment benefits, the region also offers vast undeveloped areas for new production facilities in such important industry sectors as fast-moving consumer goods, oil and gas, the mining and metals industry, high-tech industries, construction, transport and electric power.”
