Top earning Linklaters lawyer was paid £2.5m last year

December 3, 2012 Linklaters' posted accounts reveal that the highest-paid lawyer in the 2011-12 financial year took home £2.5 million, an increase of £300,000 on the top earner from the previous financial year. The figure is well above the lockstep, and is likely inflated by payments associated with joining or leaving the partnership.

The firm recorded a global revenue of £1.204 billion, with the Americas contributing £87.1m (7%), Asia £141.2m (12%), continental Europe £449.6m (37%) and the UK and Middle East £526.4m (44%).
