King & Spalding hires four in Singapore
King & Spalding has boosted its Singapore energy practice with the hire of four lawyers, including partner Kelly Malone.
Malone joins King & Spalding from the partnership of Norwegian firm Wikborg Rein, where he served as head of the global projects team. He is followed by two senior lawyers and an associate.
“Our Asian practice has historically focused on oil and gas and arbitration, and the logical next step in growing the business was to add a senior power projects partner with substantial financing and Asia experience,” said John Savage, managing partner of King & Spalding’s Singapore office.
The firm says that it intends to grow its Asia team with more lateral partner hires and internal promotions in different practices areas in the short-to medium-term.
