Australian firm HopgoodGanim links with two Chinese firms

December 8, 2012 Australian firm HopgoodGanim has formed alliances with two powerhouse Chinese firms, giving the Brisbane-based firm access to clients that wish to invest in Australia’s energy & resources and property sectors.

Dacheng Law Offices is China’s largest firm by headcount and has a strong mining, energy & resources practice, while T&C Law Firm is focused on capital markets, real estate and construction, and foreign direct investment.

The terms of the alliance will see the firms sharing information and resources, including referrals and secondments, though HopgoodGanim’s managing partner Bruce Humphrys was clear that there is no merger on the cards.
