Lawrence Graham cuts 16 jobs
Lawrence Graham has laid off 16 people after a month-long redundancy consultation. Eight fee-earning lawyers and eight service staff were made redundant.
When the consultation process was announced, managing partner Hugh Maule described the move as a “prudent” attempt to align its resources in a “difficult market”.
Lawrence Graham saw revenues drop from £57.3 million to £54.2 million last year, while average profit per equity partner plummeted from £412,000 to £303,000.
