Nearly 32 per cent of respondents work in a small firm of five or fewer lawyers, almost 11 per cent work at a medium-sized firm of six to 20 lawyers, close to 23 per cent said they practiced at a firm of 21 or more lawyers, and about 7 per cent had a solo practice.
The majority of graduates found work fairly quickly, with 67 per cent reporting that they found a job in a law-related field within three months, and only 5.6 per cent saying they had not found a job in the legal field by the time of the survey.
About 15 per cent of respondents had a starting salary between $40,001 and $45,000 in their first legal job, and around 29 per cent made less than $40,000.
