Scottish firm Burness Paull hires oil & gas expert

December 31, 2012 Scottish law firm Burness Paull & Williamsons has boosted its oil and gas practice with the hire of Robin Clarkson, formerly the head of legal at energy company Sterling Resources.

Clarkson joins the firm’s Aberdeen office, and he is the first hire made by the firm since the merger between Burness and Paull & Williamsons on 1 December 2012.

Burness Paull & Williamsons chairman Philip Rodney said: “Robin’s appointment underlines our strategy of being a leading Scottish commercial law firm, committed to having deeply resourced teams serving all the major sectors of our economy.
