Bennett Jones hires former Competition Commissioner

January 17, 2013 Canadian firm Bennett Jones has hired Melanie Aitken, who rejoins the firm after completing her three-year term as Canada’s Competition Commissioner. Ms. Aitken was a partner at Bennett Jones when she went to the Competition Bureau in 2005.

Aitken will lead the firm’s Washington office and co-chair the antitrust and competition practice.
