Schiff Hardin acquires DC energy law boutique
Schiff Hardin has acquired Washington DC-based energy law boutique Bruder Gentile. The addition of Bruder Gentile’s ten-lawyer team nearly doubles Schiff Hardin’s energy practice, adding further specialist expertise to the firm’s stable of 385 lawyers.
Five Bruder Gentile lawyers joined Schiff Hardin as partners.
Schiff Hardin’s focus remains—as it has historically—on a commitment to exceptional client service. We are a national law firm and it is imperative that we continue to grow in regions and industries where we recognize and anticipate client needs,” said Schiff Hardin’s Managing Partner, Ronald S. Safer.
“Our colleagues from Bruder, Gentile & Marcoux are outstanding attorneys in the field of energy law and regulation. We are proud to have them as colleagues and to have them carry the Schiff Hardin name. This combination demonstrates our commitment to the Washington, D.C., market and our focus on delivering the highest level of client service to the energy industry nationwide.”
