Olswang and Clydes enter redundancy consultations
RollOnFriday reports that six staff in the Finance and Employment teams at Olswang are at risk of redundancy.
A spokeswoman said "we are consulting with six members of staff who may be affected by these changes about their future roles. At this stage, no redundancies have been announced. We hope to be able to avoid the need to make any dismissals by exploring alternative roles during the consultation period".
Meanwhile, up to ten members of staff at Clydes are also in consultations following the firm’s acquisition of Barlow Lyde & Gilbert. A spokeswoman indicated that the damage might be contained, saying that there were "no plans for a collective consultancy" and it was hoped that all those at risk might be redeployed within the business.
