Sydney boutique Webb Henderson adds serious talent

February 18, 2013 Sydney boutique law firm Webb Henderson has added serious talent with the hire of the former head of competition law and disputes at Baker & McKenzie Australia.

The hire brings Webb Henderson’s headcount to 32 lawyers working across offices in Singapore, London, Sydney and Auckland, and makes Andrew Christopher the firm’s ninth partner.
Christopher has advised clients across a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, media, transport, energy & resources and food & other consumer goods. He has also advised the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and other state and Commonwealth agencies and departments on competition issues in the merger area, enforcement work and tribunal work.

He explained that the move will allow him to work more closely with clients while still offering a global platform sufficient to their cross-market needs.
