DLA Piper appoints new UK managing partner

March 14, 2013 DLA Piper has appointed Mark O'Conor as the new UK managing partner, replacing incumbent Andrew Darwin, who is heading to Australia to become managing partner of the Australian practice.

O’Conor has been the UK head of intellectual property and technology since last May, and has been with DLA Piper since 2005, after 12 years at Bird & Bird.

In Australia Darwin will work with Asia-Pacific managing director Bob Charlton, freeing up the latter to concentrate on matters across Asia.
