Barclays' GC awarded $3.6m bonus
The outgoing general counsel at Barclays, Mark Harding, has been awarded a £3.6m bonus as part of a share incentive plan for the bank's directors and managers. Last month Harding announced that he would retire after nearly ten years in the role. He intends to stay in his position until a successor is appointed. comments powered by Disqus
The largest payout under the plan was made to Barclays' head of investment banking Rich Ricci, who was given £17.5m worth of shares. Chief executive Antony Jenkins was awarded shares worth £5.3m.
