Dewey estate goes after former partners

March 29, 2013 The Dewey & LeBoeuf estate has filed suit against 18 former partners who refused to contribute to a settlement plan.

The claim describes the former partners’ attempt to claim moneys owed to them (profit distributions, deferred compensation, unpaid capital and bonuses) as “nothing more than thinly veiled attempts to fabricate a defense to the estate’s impending clawback litigation against the Respondents.”

The eight former partners seek the payment of a combined sum of$4.46 million in unreturned capital contributions.
