MoFo hires capital markets partner in Tokyo

April 3, 2013 Morrison & Foerster has boosted its capital markets practice in Tokyo with the hire of Kenji Taneda from Sullivan & Cromwell. Taneda was a special counsel at Sullivan & Cromwell, and joins Morrison & Foerster as a partner.
Kenneth Siegel, Tokyo managing partner for Morrison & Foerster, explained that Morrison & Foerster has worked with Taneda on several deals. "He is one of the most accomplished young lawyers in Tokyo,” said Siegel. “His extensive capital markets experience will further strengthen our practice in this key area and enhance our ability to provide our clients here and around the world with the highest levels of service."
