Boston firm Bingham McCutchen hires 5 DLA partners
Bingham McCutchen has hired a team of five IP partners from DLA Piper, including the co-chair of DLA Piper’s Patent Litigation and Life Sciences department, Richard de Bodo.
De Bodo’s book of business includes high profile clients like Pfizer, Sharp, and Seiko Epson, and he has represented pharmaceutical companies like GlaxoSmithKline, APP Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly in patent litigation. He joins Bingham McCutchen as the co-chair of the Intellectual Property and Life Sciences practice groups.
The other members of De Bodo’s team are Siegmund Gutman, Andrew Devkar, Olga Berson and Bruce Kuyper.
Bingham Chairman Jay Zimmerman said the group’s “cutting-edge patent litigation practice perfectly complements our existing IP practice as well as our Japan practice, which includes more than 70 lawyers in Tokyo. It’s a strong and ideal fit.”
