Osborne Clarke axes senior lawyers
Osborne Clarke is set to make up to 13 senior lawyers redundant across the firm's London, Bristol and Thames Valley offices. The firm has also indicated that it will be targeting "small pockets of overcapacity at Partner level”.
Roll On Friday speculates that too few senior associates have been leaving the firm voluntarily, which isn’t surprising in light of the lack of career opportunities elsewhere.
Managing partner Simon Beswick said "we had hoped that this issue would naturally unwind but over the past few months it became clear that this would not be the case. Looking forward, we can't see that position changing".
