Pannone denies rumoured merger talks with Irwin Mitchell

May 21, 2013 Pannone 1822] has denied rumours that it is in merger negotiations with Irwin Mitchell, with Pannone’s managing partner Emma Holt clearly stating that the firms are not currently in discussions.

Observers have pointed out that the firms are fairly well suited - they offer similar services, with both operating personal legal services divisions alongside a commercial business offering.

Irwin Mitchell's turnover for 2012-13 is expected to come in at around £200m, up from last year’s £183.7m. Meanwhile, Pannone’s turnover for 2012 was £46m. A combined firm would boast around 3,000 employees and around 250 partners.
