DAC Beachcroft shakes up leadership
DAC Beachcroft is set for a change in leadership as international senior partner Danny Gowan retires, making way for insurance partner Nick Young to take up the top role.
At the same time, three new appointments have been made to the firm’s board: Madrid managing partner Pablo Wesolowski, Dublin office head Katie da Gama and Leeds senior partner Virginia Clegg.
Wesolowski, an expert in global insurance markets, takes over from Ignacio Figuerol, who left the firm in April to launch Clyde & Co in Madrid. Real estate specialist Virginia Clegg will succeed Leeds partner Ruth Winterbottom on the board, as Winterbottom shifts her focus to Beachcroft’s merger with Scottish firm Anderson Solicitors. Da Gama sits in the disputes team, with specialist expertise defending professional indemnity claims.
