Hill Dickinson delays job offers to trainees

June 22, 2013 According to RollOnFriday, Hill Dickinson has sent trainees into a panic by telling them that the decision on whether they have a job with the firm has been delayed by a month.

According to sources, management has delayed the release of the internal job list because of on-going job cuts at the firm: with up to 200 staff at risk of redundancy, bringing in new people might not be the most sensible move.
Since the majority of firms circulated their lists of newly qualified recruits weeks ago, the trainees will be worried that the delay will deny them sufficient time to look elsewhere for a job if their prospects at Hill Dickinson head south.
