Gibson Dunn hires oil and gas expert in Singapore

July 17, 2013 Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher has boosted its oil and gas practice with the hire of the former head of Hogan Lovells’ Southeast Asia oil and gas practice, Brad Roach.

Roach joins Gibson Dunn as a partner, and will advise developers of energy and infrastructure projects, with an emphasis on upstream and downstream sectors of the petroleum industry.  He also has expertise in the development and financing of LNG projects, and has advised the sponsors of several greenfield LNG projects in Asia and the Middle East.
“Based in Singapore for more than 15 years, Brad is highly regarded by clients and peers,” said Jai Pathak, partner-in-charge of Gibson Dunn’s Singapore office. “Asia, and Indonesia especially, is poised for significant investments in energy and infrastructure.  Given his extensive experience in the area, Brad will be an invaluable asset to our clients and help us take our regional and firmwide energy practice to the next level.”
