Mills & Reeve reports retention rate of 85%
Mills & Reeve will keep 17 of its 20 second-year trainees - a retention rate of 85 per cent.
This year’s figures are an improvement on last September’s 76 per cent retention rate, and are significantly higher than its 45 per cent retention rate in September 2011.
Eight of the newly qualified lawyers will work in the Cambridge office, four will work in Birmingham, three in Norwich and one in London, while another will split their time between Bimingham and Manchester. The Leeds office will not take any qualifiers in this round.
Mills & Reeve graduate recruitment manager Fiona Medlock said: “We’re delighted with our 85 per cent retention rate and even more so that we’ve been able to offer permanent positions to all our trainees.”
