22 DLA Piper staff leave firm after trial relocation

July 30, 2013 A team of 22 DLA Piper staff are set to leave the firm after a trial relocation from Glasgow to Edinburgh. The firm made 45 employees redundant when it closed its Glasgow base, and offered a further 30 staff a three month trial relocation in Edinburgh, after which they could choose to make the relocation permanent or take voluntary redundancy.

When the trial period ended on 1 July just eight employees decided to relocate permanently, meaning that a total of 67 of the 75 Glasgow-based staff have been made redundant following the closure of the Glasgow office.
