Addleshaw Goddard boosts Hong Kong base
Addleshaw Goddard has formed an association with newly-established Hong Kong firm Stewien & Co. Stewien & Co was founded by Minter Ellison’s former head of litigation Nigel Francis and DLA Piper corporate partner Brett Stewien.
The association will see Francis and Stewien become partners of Addleshaw Goddard in it’s newly launched Hong Kong base, which is led by the firm’s international managing partner Andrew Carpenter and international arbitration partner Jonathan Tattersall.
The new linkup will allow Addleshaw Goddard to offer local litigation and corporate legal advice. Increasing levels of business between China and the Gulf as well as the strong connections between China and Africa will also provide many opportunities for our Hong Kong team to combine with our wider network,” said Carpenter.
