Sidley Austin hires former SEC Chief Counsel

August 14, 2013 Sidley Austin has scored a coup with the hire of Thomas J. Kim, who was the Chief Counsel and Associate Director of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Corporation Finance since 2007.
Kim joins the firm as a partner in the Securities & Derivatives Enforcement and Regulatory, Securities, and Corporate Governance and Executive Compensation practice teams. He will be based in the Washington office.
