UK fixed-fee firm Riverview plans for growth
Riverview Law is planning to double in size by recruiting 100 more staff. The firm announced that it would be recruiting at “all levels” but declined to specify how many of the new staff would lawyers, although a spokesman claimed it would be the majority.
Riverview was launched around 18 months ago as an alternative business structure, and boasts a fixed fee billing system.
Non-lawyer chief executive Karl Chapman explained that the firm’s growth can be attributed to a number of new instructions from FTSE 100 businesses and “customers voting with their wallets”.
Riverview said that it intends to begin recruitment in the next month, focussing in the north-west of England and hiring most of the new staff in its Bromborough offices in Merseyside.
