Pillsbury boosts London IP team with Gowlings hires
Pillsbury has boosted its London intellectual property team with the hire of a team of five lawyers from Canadian firm Gowlings.
The team includes partners James Tumbridge and Paul Harris alongside associates Katerina Mikheev and Robert Peake and special counsel Dr Ashley Roughton.
"More and more of the firm's IP clients are becoming involved in international disputes with European aspects," said Jack Barufka, firm-wide leader of Pillsbury's IP practice. "The addition of James and Paul will help us meet the needs of our clients."
He added: "We are fortunate to have clients that operate globally in regulated industries, and on projects of scale that require significant finance or government approvals.”
