Brownstein Hyatt enlarges Denver IP team

September 11, 2013 Denver-based law firm Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck has hired patent attorney S. Craig Hemenway to its intellectual property group, continuing recent moves to enlarge the practice group.

Hemenway joins the partnership from Dorsey & Whitney, where he has led the the Denver patent group since 2011. Before Dorsey & Whitney he was working as a control systems engineer for San Francisco-based construction and engineering giant Bechtel Corp.

Hemenway will be the 13th new addition to the firm’s IP team this summer, 12 of whom came from Minneapolis-based Dorsey. This hire brings the total headcount for Brownstein's IP team to 25 people.
