Vinson relocates two partners out of China
Vinson & Elkins continues to reduce its Chinese presence, with the relocation of Beijing-based energy partners Paul Deemer and Rob Patterson to London and Moscow respectively.
The move follows the firm’s decision in July to close its Shanghai office, and leaves Vinson & Elkins with just six partner across its Beijing and Hong Kong offices.
Vinson & Elkins international Asia coordinator Jay Cuclis said: “Given the increasing cross-border work and client requests of our Asia practice, Paul Deemer and Rob Patterson will soon return to firm offices where they previously practiced.
“They will both continue to actively represent clients on Asia-related energy deals while assisting with additional client demands in those offices.”
