Littler Mendelson launches in Columbia and Costa Rica
Littler Mendelson has expanded in Latin America, combining with law firms in Colombia and Costa Rica. These are Littler’s third and fourth Latin American offices, after opening an office in Venezuela in 2010 and an office in Mexico in 2012.
The firm has linked up with Colombian law firm Godoy Córdoba Abogados and Costa Rican law firm BDS Asesores in a Swiss verein under the name Littler Global.
Littler’s co-managing director Jeremy Roth said that the combination gives Littler instant name recognition in Costa Rica, Colombia, Panama, El Salvador and throughout the region. “As our clients increasingly view labor and employment law as an international, rather than a strictly local challenge, Littler continues to grow to meet their needs,” he said.
