Greenberg Traurig hires star corporate lawyer in London

October 9, 2013 Greenberg Traurig has hired star corporate attorney Stephen J. Horvath III in its London office.

Horvath joins the firm as a partner in the Corporate & Securities Practice, leaving behind a role with Dewey & LeBoeuf, where he stayed on with one other partner to wind down the firm’s affairs. Prior to Dewey’s collapse, Horvath served as the head of the European Mergers & Acquisitions practice and a member of the firm’s European Council.

“We are excited to have Steve's broad experience in complex cross-border transactions across many European jurisdictions to add strength and further depth to our London office corporate team. His proven ability to work with collaborative teams of lawyers from multiple offices and specialties will be well suited to delivering the kind of services clients are seeking from a modern global law firm.” said Paul Maher, Co-Chairman of the firm's Global Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Chairman of Greenberg Traurig Maher in London.
