Norton Rose boosts Singapore aviation practice

November 13, 2013 Norton Rose Fulbright has boosted its Singapore office by relocating banking and finance partner Keith Sandilands from London to Singapore to head the firm’s Asia aviation practice.

Sandilands has experience in the region, having worked in the firm’s Singapore and Jakarta offices between 1991 and 1999. His practice centers on asset and structured finance, with a focus on aviation, domestic and cross border finance, operating leasing (including tax based structures) and the sale and purchase of aircraft.

“Keith is an aviation specialist, has a strong Asian client base and has previously worked in the region,” said Jeff Smith, the Southeast Asia head of Norton Rose Fulbright. “His focus will be to further develop our aviation practice across Asia, especially in India, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.”
