US firm Bryan Cave appoints first female chair in 140 years
Bryan Cave has appointed the first female chair in the firm’s 140-year history, elevating Therese Pritchard to the top leadership position.
Ms. Pritchard is a high profile lawyer, and was named one of the Best Lawyers in America 2008-2011 by various publications, including the Washington Post, Washingtonian, Woodward/White, and Inc.’s 13th edition of The Best Lawyers in America. She also served for several years as the chair of the Securities Enforcement Subcommittee of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
Pritchard is based in Washington D.C., and plans to work alongside current chair Don Lents for a short transition period before taking over in October.
