HSF appoints head of South Korea disputes practice
Herbert Smith Freehills has appointed a new head of the firm’s South Korean disputes practice, promoting and relocating James Doe from associate to partner, and from Doha to Seoul. Doe replaces partner Tony Dymond, who has left the firm to join Debevoise & Plimpton in London.
Pending regulatory approval, Doe will also succeed Dymond as the office’s chief representative partner.
Doe’s practice focusses on the construction and engineering sectors, and he has experience advising clients on cross-border and energy-related disputes.
