Partners depart ahead of Dundas merger

January 1, 2014 The May 2014 merger of Scottish firm Dundas & Wilson and CMS Cameron McKenna has precipitated the departure of a group of partners from Dundas. The group, which includes former chairman David Hardie, has decided not to join the merged firm. 

According to reports, CMS has a lock-in with Dundas partners, offering the Dundas partnership contractual agreement for continued employment at a particular level of pay.

The combined firm will have a partner count across the network of 830, with a total of 5,600 employees across 57 offices.
