Dechert hires from Baker & McKenzie for HK litigation team

January 20, 2014 Dechert has boosted it Hong Kong litigation practice with the hire of Baker & McKenzie partner Kareena Teh.

Teh is admitted to practice law in Hong Kong, England & Wales and New Zealand, and she is the only female solicitor in Hong Kong thus far to be granted higher rights of audience - a newly-established designation that permits certain highly-qualified litigators to represent clients in court at all levels of Hong Kong’s judicial system.

“Kareena will be a great asset to our Hong Kong office and to our global litigation team,” said Dechert chairman Andrew J. Levander. “Her tremendous skill and dynamic practice span many of the complex litigation issues that our clients face in Asia and around the world.”
