Miller Nash appoints seven new female partners
Miller Nash has announced the election of seven new partners, all of whom are women.
"It's more of a coincidence but it reflects a trend that's been alive at the firm for sometime," said Managing Partner Kieran Curley. "It's important that our firm reflects the legal profession at large, which is growing more diverse, as is that of our clients."
About one third of the 113 attorneys at Miller Nash are women, and about a third of the partners are women. Those figures are above the national average: the American Bar Association says that women make up just 20 percent of partners in law firms in the US, though they account for 45 percent of law firm associates.
