Bakers loses McLaren Group to Norton Rose Fulbright

January 25, 2014 McLaren Group has ended its relationship with Baker & McKenzie in favour of taking legal advice from Norton Rose Fulbright.

Baker & McKenzie has advised McLaren since the 80s, but lost the client in a process where a number of firms pitched for the mandate. The final decision was made by McLaren’s group legal director Timothy Murnane.

Murnane said: “McLaren Mercedes consistently challenges itself, embraces change and maintains clear focus on the only goal that matters – to win. We see Norton Rose Fulbright as one of the leading global legal practices, combining a lengthy history with an appetite for change and a pursuit of excellence which resonates with our own corporate ideals.”
