Taylor Wessing MP steps down early

March 3, 2014 The managing partner of the Germany practice at Taylor Wessing has stepped down, after serving in the role for just one year of a four-year term.

Michael-Florian Ranft was elected to replace former Germany chief Wolfgang Rehmann in March last year, and continued to lead the firm’s China practice group at the same time.

Ranft plans to renew his focus on the China practice. He commented: “If the latest developments we currently see in the making materialise, we can also develop new product offers for the Chinese legal market.

“I personally feel responsible to drive this again. The clients will profit from this and it will also strengthen our Chinese practice.”
