BLP appoints new leaders in finance practice

March 12, 2014 Berwin Leighton Paisner has made two new leadership appointments in its finance team following a number of departures from the team.

The firm appointed partner Naveen Vijh as head of the real estate finance team after the departure of real estate finance partner Laurence Rogers to DLA Piper.

The firm has also tapped partner Mark Richards to lead the projects and infrastructure team. The role became vacant following the promotion of incumbent of Adam Dann to finance head, which came after the surprise exit of former finance chief Matthew Kellett last year.

Other exits from the firm’s finance team include partners Trevor Wood and Richard Todd, who left for to Mayer Brown’s banking and finance team in October 2013. In July 2013, asset finance partner Lisa Marks moved to Stephenson Harwood, and finance partner Andrew Bamber also resigned.
