ELP hires new telecoms, media and tech head in Delhi

March 17, 2014 Indian law firm Economic Laws Practice has hired a new leader for its telecommunications, media and technology practice.
Jyoti Pawar joins ELP in Delhi, leaving behind the role of legal and regulatory director for India and Southeast Asia at telecommunications company Bharti Airtel. Pawar specialises in corporate work, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, commercial and transaction contracts, and civil and criminal litigation.
“Jyoti has built an outstanding reputation as a legal professional, and as a real force in the telecom sector. We are delighted that she will now be a part of our team at Economic Laws Practice,” said ELP’s managing partner Rohan Shah.
