Indian law firm SNG Partners to launch in Singapore
SNG Partners is set to launch its first foreign office in Singapore next month. The firm specialises in advising the financial sector, and will focus its services on the high concentration of companies in Singapore.
When asked why the firm chose Singpaore and not a European or American city, managing partner Rajesh Narain Gupta said, "Largely because of the concentration of financial services companies there. Moreover, the island nation is home to over 5,000 Indian companies." The Singapore branch will be supervised by Mumbai corporate head Amit Agarwal, while Rahul Sood will relocate from Delhi to be the branch head.
