Canadian firm Fasken hires 30 lawyers from Heenan
Fasken Martinueau has hired 30 lawyers from the failed law firm Heenan Blaikie, including 15 partners.
The Heenan Blaikie lawyers are joining their new firm in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.
Partners Brian Burkett, John Craig, Douglas Gilbert, Sarah Graves, Christina Hall and Mathias Link will join the Toronto labor, employment and human rights group. The same practice group in Ottowa will see the addition of partners Sebastien Lorquet and Claire Vachon, and in Montreal the ame group is boosted by the addition of partners Robert Dupont, Stephane Fillion, Simon Laberge, Rheaume Perreault and Yves Turgeon. Two partners, Carl Belanger and Neil Wiener, are set to join the Corporate-Commercial group in Montreal.
