UK firm Irwin Mitchell grows its IP practice
Irwin Mitchell has boosted its new IP practice with the hire of IP lawyer Katrina Burchell, and plans to double the size of the group over the next year.
Burchell joins Irwin Mitchell as a consultant, after having been the IP director at Kerring and Unilever.
The IP group launched last year under the leadership of former Brown Rudnick IP partner Georgie Collins. Collins plans to grow the practice by taking on low-cost high-volume work and offering a broader range of fees and packages to client, including fixed-fee, hourly rates and annual retainer arrangements.
