Maples and Calder appoints new Hong King chief

April 15, 2014 Maples and Calder has appointed partner Shaun Denton to head its Hong Kong office, relocating him from London to take up the role.

Denton was formerly the managing partner of the firm’s London office, and his practice focusses on capital markets and structured finance advice, including securitisations and derivatives.

Maples and Calder’s Hong Kong office now has has 34 lawyers, including 16 partners, after the promotion of trust and private wealth specialist Richard Grasby and investment funds lawyers James Gaden and Terence Ho to the Hong Kong partnership
