DWF cuts 19 staff in integration effort

April 19, 2014 DWF has made 19 redundancies, cutting operational staff in its finance department at the conclusion of a consultation that put 21 roles at risk.

The firm aims to centralise the finance department in Manchester, integrating the accounting systems of a number of legacy firms after a series of acquisitions over the past 18 months.

The firm said in a statement: “We’re doing all we can to minimise the number of people affected and we’re very grateful to those directly affected by the proposals, and their colleagues, for their continued professionalism and support.”
