Pinsent Masons launches Middle East grad programme
Pinsent Masons has announced the launch of a new graduate programme in the Middle East, with trainees qualifying to work in the firm's Dubai and Doha offices.
Selected trainees will spend one year training in London and the rest of their training in Dubai and Doha, and will stay on in the gulf at the completion of their training.
Four british students have been chosen for the first round of the programme, selected "because of their close ties to the Middle East”, but the firm intends to recruit its Middle Eastern trainees directly from the region's universities in the next stage of the programme.
Head of Gulf Region Sachin Kerur said "We want to recruit junior lawyers who share our excitement about the region's future and want to make a commitment to being a part of it".
