Indian firm Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan adds equity partners
Indian law firm Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan has opened its equity partnership to non-founding partners for the first time in its 30 year history. Seven partners were invited to join the equity partnership six of whom specialise in tax, with the seventh specialising in IPR.comments powered by Disqus
LKS managing partner V Lakshmikumaran said that each of the new equity partners will get equal percentage share in the firm’s profits, though he was not saying what percentage of profits would be set aside for the equity partnership after the founders’ share. New equity holders will also get a vote in the administrative decisions of the firm.
The new equity partners are Bangalore tax partner G Shivadass, Mumbai tax partner Nambirajan R, Delhi tax partner Seetharaman S, Delhi tax partner Mathivanan N, Delhi tax partner Narasimhan BL, Chennai IPR partner Parathasarthy R and Mumbai tax partner Vishwanathan T.
