RPC and Weil Gotshal post high retention figures

August 5, 2014 RPC has announced that it is retaining 94% of its qualifying trainees, while Weil Gotshal & Manges is keeping on 100%.

RPC saw 15 of its 16 trainees apply for jobs, with the entire group accepted. This year”s high figure are an improvement on last year, when the firm retained 13 out of 16 trainees (81%), the year before 12 out of 15 (80%). In 2011 all 13 qualifiers were kept on.

Dentons, for its part, retained 22 of 26 trainees, for a retainment rate of 85%. This is an improvement on last year, when the firm retained just 68% of trainees.
