DWF eliminates 26 jobs from Liverpool team
DWF, which previously had announced that up to 37 jobs might be cut, announced that 26 jobs would be eliminated after the completion the consultation that began last June. The jobs come from the fraud, intelligence and motor teams.
DWF has engaged in a number of streamlining methods such as revamping its billing system and only just two months before this latest consultation began, another was completed which saw 19 jobs cut. In 2013, DWF cut almost 80 jobs.
Expansions in the past two years have cost the firm almost £17m as it completed several mergers.
This round of cuts in Liverpool saw 15 secretaries, six solicitors, four paralegals, and one analyst lose their job.
